Our tips for visiting Paris like a parisian

tour montparnasse The best view of Paris : Montparnasse tower !

Al true parisians will tell you : this the nicest view of Paris is on the 56th floor of Montparnasse tower. Because of the amazing perspective on the Eiffel tower and alos because doing so you avoid to see the tower itself (too modern for parisians to like it) ! Moreover the restaurant is very nice.

Food-court1 “Louvre museum” : eat different

How about a quick lunch in the Carrousel du Louvre ? Unfortunatly you are 4 persons and the 4 of you want something different to eat. Let’s meet between  11 a.m and 8 p.m. at the “Food Court”, located on the  1st floor of Carrousel du Louvre. Above 1800 sq² you can find all type of world cuisine (Italy, Japan, Spain, China, Mexico, Moroco…).
Food Court restaurant is located in Carrousel du Louvre

010017_paris_amoureux_du_pont_des_arts The place to kiss in Paris

Paris, the city of Love ! Here is the most romantic place of Paris : ” Le pont des arts”(it goes from the Louvre Museum to “Académie Française”) ! An amazing view on both sides and generations of lovers kissing there…
Why not trying it ?

velib[1] Let’s use the “Vélib”…

Any parisian can answer this question : What is Velib ?
Vélib’ is a self-service bicycle service. You can take a bike from any station and put it back in any other station all across Paris ! With thousands of bikes offered in hundreds of stations (a station every 300 metres) you can cycle in total freedom. The cost is 1 € per day ! And you know what, there is a staion right in front of Apostrophe hotel !

Xxxxxxxxxx

  2. Nice hotel room and beautiful drawing!

  3. All people deserve good life time and home loans or just commercial loan would make it better. Just because people’s freedom relies on money.

  4. Modern room design with nice attention to details (DVD player, cushion for bed reading, LED lighting for ambiance, jacuzzi bath…). The daytime reception manager was terrific and friendly: not only would he go out of his way to help with inquiries (reservation, research and room service,…) but he would also pro-actively offer ideas or services. Best service I ever had in 15 years of traveling, sincerely impressed. Wifi was free and unlimited.

  5. Hello Roman and the rest of the Apostrophe team!

We just wanted to thank you a lot for making our Paris stay even more wonderful!
You were so helpful and kind to us.
We loved our music room with the cool shower! :-)

    See you again soon,

    Martine & Katarina from Oslo

  7. Hi Roman,

Thanks so much again for everything you did for us when we were there, we’d a fantastic time and it was lovely to meet you.

  8. Your friendliness and the general open-mindedness at the hotel made our us feel like home away from home and made our short trip to Paris unforgettable. Thank you.

  9. The staff was extemely kind and helpful with any questions we had about the city. The room was amazingly clean…no mold to be found in any corner. The shower was amazing! Close to the metro and great restaurants nearby. Grocery store around the corner of the hotel and the best bakery a couple of blocks away – a must go!

  10. Thank you for all the attention and kindness that you have given us during our stay in your hotel.

  11. Cool service! And free Wi-Fi, mmmmm

  12. Good morning!

From Octobre 25th till 28th I stayed with a friend and our daughters at your lovely hotel. We are still talking about it.

Also we are talking about the great beds we slept in. Would you mind telling us the name of the mattrass and bedcovers so that we could buy for our beds at home?

Hope it’s not too much bother for you.

Thanks in advance for your reply!

    With kind regards

    Mirian Laddrak

  13. Dear Pascal, Jean Pierre and Friends of the hotel

I did not had the chance to say good-bye and wish you season greetings! We wish you and to your family a wonderful 2010!

Thank you once again for all your kindness during our stay at your hotel. We loved Paris and even more your friendship.

We are leaving our home (Brazil) in a minutes to go to Australia and New Zealand. We will be there until January 9th.

    Helio and Cintia Pfau ;)

  14. To All the Staff at Apostrophe

I know everyone there speaks English and while we didn’t expect this it was certainly a big help during our stay in September. As you all know, our French is very poor although we like to try it anyway.

Thanks to everyone for making our stay special. As experienced Paris vacationers we’ve become familiar with your city and have visited the major attractions many times. This time your knowledge of the city helped us to find some new places. Pascal, your restaurant recommendations were superb, we enjoyed all the places you sent us to. We have always been pleasantly surprised at the hospitality of the French people and we experienced this especially during our dinners. We met and talked with some fun folks.

Again, thanks to you all. We’ll be sure to make the Aphostrophe our hotel when we come to Paris again.

    Rob and Brenda

  21. We had a wonderful short weekend break in Paris, made all the better by our stay at the Apostrophe. The room was excellent, well appointed and had everything we needed. The shower was perfect for clearing those morning blues from the night before.
Pascal is the man for local knowledge and should be consulted on almost anything before you leave the building. Without him, we would never have discovered the delights of the nearby Macaron patisserie, which was in a word – stunning! Some things can look too good to eat but trust me, try them all including the wonderful ouef au plat. Can eggs be that good?
When we’re back in Paris, you’ll find us here in the Apostrophe. It would need to be an amazing hotel indeed to tempt us away from this charming spot.
    Highly recommended.
