Our favourite restaurants

Caméléon
“Bohemian and brilliant”

French cuisine worthy of three stars in the Michelin Guide (the chef used to work at Le Doyen). The restaurant’s speciality is a traditional French delicacy, veal liver. You will get a hearty welcome from the owner, Monsieur Arabian, a larger than life character. A lively restaurant with very high cooking standards.

Sensing
When design rimes with art of cooking”

Ideal for a romantic diner, modern design, formal service and delicate and generous “cuisine”. That’s the least we could expect from Guy Martin (well known chef of “Véfour”- Cristal room of baccarat) and his new chef Rémi Von Peteghem. With no doubt the smart adress of our district. 30-70 €.

Le Timbre
“So british”

A culinary curiosity: a British chef’s interpretation of classic French cuisine. Tiny restaurant (hence its name, a “timbre” is a postage stamp) and friendly, bilingual atmosphere. The menu cleverly combines very French products (duck fillet) and typically English ones (red cabbage).

Le Dôme
“A myth”

The mythical brasserie of 1930s Montparnasse. The menu is renowned for fish and seafood, remarkably fresh (the fishmonger’s is right next to the restaurant). Beautiful Art Deco dining room reminiscent of the heyday of Montparnasse.

La Rotonde
“A Paris icon”

Another famous Montparnasse brasserie.
Red wall seats, efficent service, late opening hours (meals are served practically round the clock). Their great speciality: Salers meat (one of the most reputed beef meats in France).

Tijos
“All the flavours of Brittany in Paris”

Everybody likes pancakes!
At Tijos, pancakes are made just like in Brittany (where they originally come from). Salted butter, cider, mead, all the Brittany specialities can be enjoyed. The restaurant also has live music in the tiny basement.
